Tea Staining yarn?

I&#8217;m making a baby blanket with Caron Simply Soft in white. It&#8217;s an acrylic yarn. What I want to know is can I tea stain this, and how. I&#8217;m not looking to get any particular color, just something other than white. Tan would be nice or even a light brown, anything in between. [...]]]></description>
